Georgia Crafted

I exchanged emails a few weeks ago with kind folks at Georgia Crafted… and then promptly forgot all about it in the midst of Thanksgiving, two birthdays, Christmas preparations, two class parties, the leak in the ceiling, and so on and so forth.  So imagine my supreme delight when I trotted out to the curb and found this fine package in my box!  I knew it was going to be good just from the orange crinkles peeking out of the corners.

Georgia Crafted is a monthly subscription service featuring 4-5 carefully curated products made by Georgia artisans.  Each box includes full-sized products that range from food, body & bath products, music, stationery, art and more.  I love it!

The December box contained Pear Honey Jam (which I positively cannot wait to pour over goat cheese as suggested on the back side of the bottle) from Emily G’s in Atlanta, divine and (impressively) gluten free Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies from Ratio Bakeshop in Decatur, three delightful handmade illustrated greeting cards from Erin McManness in Atlanta, and the most delicious smelling Peppermint IPA brew bar soap from Red Beard Brew Bars in Carrolton.

Now, it’s no secret that I’m pretty much head over heels for anything made right here in the peach state and am a huge proponent of shopping local.  So, it goes without saying that I find this entire concept to be a stroke of pure genius!

There are options for one-month, three-month, six-month and month-to-month subscriptions (starting at under $30 with shipping included!).  This would make such a fantastic and so-Southern gift for pretty much any occasion (or a gift from you to you…I love those).  And for you last minute holiday shoppers (me included), simply order the gift subscription, add a note in a card, and call it a day.  Orders placed by 12/31 will receive the January box.  Imagine how merry it would be to find this in your box amidst all the post-Christmas bills!

I’m dying to hear what y’all think!!!  Order up, gals.
