It has become our annual “brawl-game” tradition to start the evening at the Hunter Technical Resources tailgate (website | facebook). Our team of our good friends from college started this successful headhunting firm and have been a wonderful resource for Honey over the years. Corn hole, hop scotch, bubbles and a little football throwing kept the littles entertained until we sat down to a divine bbq feast catered by Heirloom Market. (I am currently trying to invent an event so that I can have them cater it. Seriously delish!)
A group of Tech football players tailgated next to us. Of course, the the littles were chomping at the bit to get their pictures with them. Such nice guys to put down their beers and balls to pay their littlest fans some attention!
The fact that we lost the game was secondary to all of the high fives and signatures the littles got sitting right next to the Tech dugout. Add to that the fact that we ran into our good friend Buzz multiple times AND that the boys got to meet two of the guys that coached Honey when he played for Tech and the evening was a WIN no matter the score.
What’s the good word? GO JACKETS!
xoxo
