If you know me, you know that I could hardly jet off to Disney without a wardrobe in place for the littles. This time, Mother was mostly off the hook. (Although, she will tell you that the project I gave her this time was worse than all the others combined.) She sure has churned out a massive amount of little outfits between her four grands!
We’ve got our Lego skeleton shirts for Legoland / Brick or Treat day. You can see how I made them here.
I scoured the littles’ dressers to locate their Disney swim suits and tees (made by Mother a couple of years ago) for Typhoon Lagoon.
The baby and I tried our hands at Mickey Halloween tie dye using this tutorial as a guide. At some point I’ll share what worked and what didn’t work for us.
I am SO beyond excited about our Monsters University costumes for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. THANK YOU THANK YOU Mother for pulling these off!! The only Mike and Sully costumes I could find were much too small (sizes 3 and 4 respectively) and much too warm for Disney weather. So Mother cut them apart and sewed them on to tee shirts from Old Navy!!!
Disney is the one place on earth that Honey will agree to matching family outfits. So I make the most of that and bring our vintage tees along each and every time. These were from the Disney Store back in 2011.
And then we’ve got a few character tees to round things out. Perry is from WalMart and Monsters is from Target.
To say that I am sad that John has totally outgrown his appliqued and embroidered Disney duds would be a tragic understatement. I am only comforted by that fact that, while he won’t wear those sweet clothes, he still thinks Disney is the most magical place on earth. I’ll take it!
xoxo
