We made our annual trek down to Six Flags last night and took the baby along for the first time ever.
He was beside himself to get to Gotham City and insisted on riding the Mind Bender (at a mere four years of age). Lo and behold he was actually big enough so we did. Aaaaaaand, at the end he quite seriously proclaimed “That was so so so so so much fun. And I never ever want to do it again.”
So with the rollercoasters being one and done, we stuck to more family friendly rides… like the ones that leave you wringing out your clothes at the end. We did Thunder River, Splash Water Falls, and whatever they call the log ride until we were all drenched from head to toe.
Per usual, the highlight of the night was rubbing elbows with the likes of Sylvester, gettin down with Tweey and trying to remember who the big rooster looking guy was.
After which we wrapped up our night with strawberry Fantas and the littles’ first tastes of funnel cake. And let this serve a great example of why that is a supremely poor parenting call at ten p.m…
Hope y’all are having a wonderful weekend!
xoxo
