Disney's Peter Pan opening titles.

Here are three of the original, handlettered drawings created and used for Disney's thirteenth animated feature 'Peter Pan' in 1953. The opening sequence in the movie was accompanied by the song 'The second star to the right' by musical aranger Judd Conlon and composer Sammy Fain, who also collaborated on the music for Disney's previous feature animation 'Alice in Wonderland' (Fain later also worked on 'The Rescuers').

The complete opening credits shows thirteen title cards, that is including the movie's titles, studio credit, voice talent and the acknowledgement of Sir James M. Barrie , the creator of Peter Pan and the author of the book the animated feature was based upon. The numbers in the right lower corner reference to the order in which the cards are displayed in the sequence.

Below is the full color opening sequence as it appears in the movie, consisting of fourteen cards (the actual title card is used twice, once with an overlay of the author's credit, which wasn't acccounted for in the orginal pencil drawings).
